Our project updates are back up and running for this year and we’re kicking things off with a recently completed project in Moncton’s downtown core. The Tannery Place South building is home to 48 apartment units and 6 commercial spaces that offer high-end amenities, a gorgeous view of the Petitcodiac River or Jones Lake and is surrounded by restaurants, retail stores and entertainment venues such as the Avenir Centre.
Having just been completed at the end of 2020, general contractors Foulem Construction have added a great building to our city that features 6 floors with underground parking.
Commercial Foreman Adam Gauthier and his team of electricians worked on this site for over a year ensuring that this new 6-story steel stud & concrete construction was fitted with all of the main electrical components, lighting & service throughout the building.
Starting off in the electrical room, you’ll see that several major components were needed such as:
The main 1600Amp 600v 3-phase switch board
Step down transformers
NB power meter stacks for each apartment and commercial space
Main electrical panels
As we make our way to the underground parking that offers residents security & peace of mind with passcode entry, 24hr security monitoring and heat.
The majority of the building has been fitted with a mix of LED pot lights, wall sconces & beautiful chandeliers. The exposed ceilings, large floor-to-ceiling windows and concrete accent walls give this building a true modern industrial feel.
Just over the commercial units are where you’ll find 48 residential apartment units that have been fitted with ducted mini split heat pumps for central air, LED pot lights, under cabinet lighting & a mix of chandeliers or pendants to create a modern, high-end look that clients will be instantly attracted to.
Every room has also been fitted with Stelpro convection heaters alongside fan-forced heat and a baseboard electric heaters so they can truly optimize the temperature for each room independently.
Tannery Place South is another great addition to our downtown core that our team has been proud to work on and we are looking forward to more development in this area that will truly transform the look & feel of our city.
Our busiest time of the year is coming up and we’ll be keeping you informed on several more projects currently in development as well as giving you a final look on past projects we’ve highlighted so you can see how they turned out.
